Alright, fellas. It’s time!

To party.

To binge-watch on Netflix or Amazon Prime.

To plan for a much needed week-long (read: expensive) vacation.

To plan ahead for 2019 and set those big-hair-audacious-goals!

To look back at 2018 and reflect on your wins and losses.

I’ve done with goal-setting and plan to reflect on the year that just went by. But that’s for tomorrow. Just a little too gassed out with all that planning for the next year. It’s fun and exhilarating for sure but I get saturated after an 8-hour streak of anything! Setting new goals wasn’t an exception.

Speaking of reflection, I was blown away with PopSci’s Best of What’s New 2018 roundup. It’s an annual list (and I didn’t realise it until now) that curates some of the most innovative ideas, technologies, and discoveries from 10 distinct disciplines.

If you obsess about technology and science, you must check it out. If you’re not into it (or are perhaps like me, a pseudo-techno-enthusiast), more the reason why you should. Believe me, you’ll be wonderstruck and just might cuss yourself for failing to keep up with the trends.

I would’ve loved to share some of my favorites here, but the site’s too damn heavy for someone with a 100 things on his to-do list. I ran out of patience. But, thankfully, there’s a video roundup that’ll give you a sense of what’s inside the list. Check it out here:

And while we’re here, I wanted to share how excited I am to discard a few more items from my closet and my home office. I donated a bunch of stuff last week but there’s some more that needs to go. Interestingly, that’s exactly what some of my other friends are planning to do. But there’s one common complaint — everyone feels it’s very hard to let go of their “stuff.” I agree. But I guess, I’m a little advanced to whine about “letting go.”

If you’re one of them, here’s a documentary series (must be, you’ll see multiple families/individuals in the trailer) you must have in your watch list. It’s based on Marie Kondo’s Konmari method and features the author herself!

If possible, supplement watching this with Marie’s fascinating book — SparkJoy. I simply loved reading it!
